JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer with 7+ years of expertise in both traditional and modern database technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance database systems that support enterprise-scale healthcare applications.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in SQL performance tuning, reporting, ETL processes, and exposure to modern cloud-based and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience: 7+ Years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain database systems for enterprise applications
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance
• Perform execution plan analysis and performance tuning
• Develop and manage reports using SSRS
• Implement and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS and modern data integration tools
• Monitor database health, ensure security compliance, and implement best practices
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD database deployments
• Support real-time data streaming and analytics initiatives

CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Relational Databases:
MS SQL Server (advanced query writing, indexing, optimization), PostgreSQL

Reporting & ETL:
SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

NoSQL & Modern Databases:
MongoDB, Redis

Cloud & Data Platforms:
Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, Azure Data Factory, Apache NiFi

Data Visualization & Analytics:
Power BI, Tableau

DevOps & Streaming:
CI/CD for databases, Infrastructure as Code, Kafka

Security & Compliance:
Database security best practices, monitoring, governance, and compliance standards

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in database engineering and optimization
