JOB DESCRIPTION:

CareData Informatics is a healthcare technology company dedicated to transforming diagnostics and patient data management. We provide advanced Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) that support efficient, accurate, and scalable operations for diagnostic laboratories and hospitals worldwide.

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in building scalable web applications and APIs using modern Microsoft and open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise-level healthcare IT systems.

Location: Chennai, India
Experience: 5 to 8 Years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular and ASP.NET Core
• Develop RESTful APIs using C# and Web API frameworks
• Work with relational databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL
• Generate, manage, and optimize SSRS reports
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on Git, TFS, and CI/CD pipelines
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
• Follow best practices in coding standards, security, and documentation

CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Frontend:
Angular (8+)

Backend:
ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API

Databases & Reporting:
Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SSRS

Scripting:
Basic Python (preferred)

Tools & Methodologies:
Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, SDLC, Agile, DevOps practices

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
• Exposure to healthcare domain or cloud-based SaaS products is an advantage

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5 to 8 years of experience in enterprise software development
